TAMBURRI, Maria 'Mary' (nee Vacca)

Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday March 24, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Tamburri (2017) and cherished mother of Tony (Linda) Tamburri, Rose Teal and the late Nina Tamburri (2012). Loving Nanna of Jesse Tamburri, Daniel (Carolina) Tamburri. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Anthony (Patricia) Vacca, sister-in-law Maria (Vittorio) Miele, brother-in-law Joe (Yolanda) Tamburri, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Anna Forte. Maria will be remembered as a generous (to a fault), hard-working, kind and loving wife, mother, nanna and friend - but most of all, as an amazing cook who delighted in feeding everyone. She believed in faith, family and friends. After 33 years of exemplary service, she retired from Canadian Home Products. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, visiting Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 am at St. Thomas More Church, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In memory of Mrs. Tamburri, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre), and would be appreciated.
