Giuseppe 'Pino' D'Ippolito

December 13, 1938 - September 17, 2021

D'IPPOLITO, Giuseppe "Pino'' (Joe) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of 59 years to Anna D'Ippolito (nee Varalli). Devoted and loving father of Rosanne (Nick) Ramunno and cherished Nonno of Patrick and Joseph. Dear brother of Giovina (the late Joe) Moretta and brother-in-law of Michele (Graziella) Varalli in Italy. Giuseppe also leaves behind nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada, Italy, and the United States. Giuseppe was born in Pollutri Italy and was the son of the late Ermete and Annina D”Ippolito. He came to Canada in 1957, where he worked hard to establish a comfortable life for his family. Mr. D'Ippolito worked at the Skylon Tower, retiring after 35 years of service. He was also a long-time member of Club Italia where he served as a bartender for many years. He loved spending time with his family and really enjoyed welcoming people into his home to share a meal. Pino was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Italian soccer fan, and you could often find him watching sports and talking about the game last night. Pino loved to go on vacations to Cuba, Italy, and cruises with the last one to Hawaii to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary. Pino left his family a legacy of love for which he will be long remembered. Respecting the restrictions of Covid-19 (masks and social distancing) friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls on Monday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 am at St. Thomas More Church. The Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In memory of Mr. D'Ippolito donations to St. Thomas More Church or Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by his family. Creator of the world

Help us love one another,

Help us care for each other

As sister or brother,

That friendship may grow

From nation to nation.

Bring peace to our world
