Palm Sunday (Passion of our Lord) (April 13-14)

Commemoration of the Lord's Procession into Jerusalam

& Eucharistic Celebration (Mass)

5:00 p.m. Sat.; 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m. Sun.

This includes blessing of palms -- children (and adults too)

are invited to process around the church: please be prompt!

Holy Week (April 15-19)

Mass: 9:15 a.m. Mon., Tue., Wed.,

Reconciliation:  6:30 p.m. Mon., Wed.

 

Holy Thursday (April 18) (Incense)

Mass of the Lord's Supper: 7:00 p.m.

(nightwatch until 11:30 Night Prayer)

This includes footwashing, blessing of ministers, almsgiving for the poor

(Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Development and Peace "Share Lent").

 

Good Friday (April 19)

Morning Prayer: 9:00 a.m.

Stations of the Cross / Midday Prayer:  11:15 a.m.

Commemoration of the Lord's

Passion and Crucifixion: 3:00 p.m.

This includes John's passion account solemn intercessions,

veneration of the cross, communion, a Holy Land collection.

Words from the Cross / Divine Mercy Novena /

Evening Prayer: 9:00 p.m.

 

Holy Saturday / Easter Vigil (April 20) (Incense)

Morning Prayer: 9:00 a.m.

Blessing of the Easter Baskets: 12:00 p.m.

Evening Prayer / Sorrows of Mary: 3:00 p.m.

Easter Vigil Celebration

(Nightwatch) of the Lord's Resurrection

(and first Mass of Easter): 8:30 p.m.

There is no 5:00 p.m. Mass tonight. The Easter Vigil fulfills the obligation

of Sunday; it starts after sunset and includes adult initiation, reception.

 

Easter Sunday (April 21)

Eucharistic Celebration of the Lord's Resurrection

(Mass): 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. (no 5:00 p.m.)

All Masses include renewal of baptismal profession of faith

and children's first reception of the Eucharist.

 

Easter Octave (April 22 - 28)

Mass: 9:15 a.m.

Sunday of Divine Mercy

Mass: Saturday, April 27, 5:00 p.m. + Baptism of young children

Mass: Sunday, April 28, 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m.

Reconciliation / Holy Hour of Mercy 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

This includes Adoration of the Holy Eucharist,

the Stations of Light ("Way of Joy"), Divine Mercy Chaplet.
